Chicken sandwiches are always a breakfast favorite. This one combine’s crispy chicken with melted cheddar cheese and a spicy-sweet glaze. It. Is. SO. GOOD

Ingredients

    Croissants, whole grain, split open, 50 each

    Breaded chicken filets, 2.12oz., 50 each

    Hot honey sauce, 3 cups

    Cheddar cheese, shredded, 3 cups

    Buttermist, as needed

    Hot Honey Sauce

    Honey, 2 cups

    Hot Sauce, ½ cup

    Margarine or butter, melted, ½ cup

Directions

    To Prepare in Advance

    1. Lay out the croissants on parchment lined-sprayed sheet pans.

    2.Lay out the chicken filets on parchment lined-sprayed sheet pans.

    3. Cook the chicken at 350°F for 25 minutes until internal temp reaches 135°F for 15 seconds and breading is nice and crispy. Hold hot for assembly.

    4. Pour the sauce over the breaded filets. Hot hold the sauced chicken until assembly

    5.To assemble the croissant sandwiches – place 1 tablespoon of shredded cheese and one chicken filet in each croissant.

    6. Spray the tops of each sandwich with buttermist to create a nice shine. Hold hot until service.

    Hot Honey Sauce

    1. Whisk all the sauce ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
