Cheddar Oats

Ingredients

Rolled Oats(1 pound 15 ounces)1.94 pounds
Water, hot14 cups
Butter2 tablespoons
Cheddar Cheese, shredded2 cups
Salt1 teaspoon
Pepper, black, ground1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. 
  2. Add oats to 4-inch-deep steamtable pan.
  3. Add hot water to oats. Cover with foil.
  4. Place in oven for 20 minutes. Uncover and stir.
  5. Re-cover and place in oven for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Whisk in butter, cheese, salt and pepper before serving.

Serving Suggestion:Create a Savory Oatmeal Bowl using Cheddar Oats as the base, and add scrambled eggs, ham, and potatoes.
